In English, Year 2 have been working very hard, acting out parts of our new story Beegu.  We have been using our social skills a lot this week. Working in groups to share resources and, in pairs, imagining that we are Beegu.  We explored opinions and emotions. But our favourite activity this week has been the Beegu hot seat.

In Science, we have been learning about micro-habitats. We have classified a variety of habitats into groups.  Using  a map of the school grounds we have found potential micro-habitats.  We made an informed guess about which minibeast we could find in each micro-habitat. We are going to explore these soon.  We will be building our own micro-habitat as well.
