Sea Lion Class Update
In term 1, Sea Lion class had the opportunity to use our new Art room and created some amazing optical art. They studied the artist M.C. Escher and enjoyed finding new ways to create Op Art. They also used the paper weaving method to create an exciting new art.
The Skipping Ninja attended our school and Sea Lion class loved learning new skipping skills. They participated well and gained stickers through persevering. It was amazing to see so many of them improve throughout the workshop.
In PSHE, Sea Lions have been looking into ‘Being Me In My World’ and considering their rights and responsibilities. They have looked into the rights of the child and been open to discussions about why having rights and responsibilities are important for our development and place in society.
In both English and Maths, Sea Lions have been working hard to collaborate to enhance their learning experience and learn from each other.
It was a successful start to Year 4 and Mrs Lake is excited to see what term 2 brings.
