Hawk Class have been painting colour wheels using watercolours!

When mixing the three primary colours (red, yellow and blue), the children did a fantastic job of making the secondary and tertiary colours. We were so impressed with their colour mixing and their finished wheels show a really clear progression between the colours.

We created these wheels in preparation for our planned World War 2 themed watercolour pieces later in the term. By producing the wheels, the pupils practised mixing the colours they are likely to need. They can also use the wheels as inspiration for more specific colours they may wish to produce for their final artwork.
