WOW! Week 5 already and the children have been busy at Forest School. We concentrated on making our den safe by adding blue rope, Elephant made the den into a bank with a pet room. Farrah found a giant Turkey-tail fungus in a decaying tree. The Year 6 assistants have been experimenting with whittling wood and the best way to light a small fire and keep it alive. On Thursday, Penguin Class were creative with clay, chalk, charcoal, berries, grass and flowers when they were not climbing trees or chopping wood.
