Sea Urchin class has had an amazing week of learning.

In English, the children worked amazingly well to produce some fantastic stories.  They applied a range of features that they had been studying including; expanded noun phrases, similes, sophisticated vocabulary and a range of fronted adverbials.  

In Science, the children continued to learn about animal nutrition. They used prior knowledge to sort foods depending on their fat content and used their scientific knowledge to justify their suggestions.

In Geography, we continued to work on our map skills. We used ordnance survey maps to practise our understanding of grid references.
