KCC have confirmed that the Cabinet Member of Education and Skills has approved plans to delay the Kent Test, and it will take place on Thursday 15th October.

The delay in testing will provide an opportunity for children to settle back into a more normal school environment, as it is appreciated that children will have missed around four months of schooling.  

The Kent Test process is already designed to ensure that a child's wider circumstances can be considered before their assessment is finalised.  

The application window for registering children to sit the test has already closed, and this information is only for those who submitted an application.
